I've been aware of Audio-Technica most of my life. I've used their microphones and headphones countless times over my playing career. But, it wasn't until 2013 that I really found out the significance and quality of their microphones. I was producing the first (and only) PLAYER'S DIN episode with Reeves Gabrels, Travis Vance, Tyson Rogers and myself. Audio-Technica was so generous to let me borrow 12 microphones for the video session. You can watch that video in the MEDIA section of this website. The microphones had such clarity and vibrancy that I was immediately sold. I ended up ordering 11 of the 12 mics I tried out. I still use them on everything I record. They have never let me down.
