Paiste was my very first cymbal I owned. So, in reality I've played Paiste cymbals since 1984. I grew up in Brea, California where Paiste's U.S. headquarters are based. Which meant when I cracked a cymbal. I could ride my bike over to the Paiste offices and trade it out for a new one. Which I did on several occasions. I was fortunate enough to officially join the Paiste family of artists in 2009. It's the cymbal sound that is in my head. Every time I hit one, it's just exactly what I want to hear. Can't do better than that.

 

My favorites are the Signature Series, Dark Energy, 602 Modern Essentials and I've been known to play some 2002's live.
